- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 7 Akta Ubat (Iklan dan Penjualan) 1956 [Akta 290], Menteri membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Peraturan-Peraturan Lembaga Iklan Ubat 1976 [P.U.(A) 283/1976], yang disebut
“Peraturan-peraturan ibu” dalam Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dalam peraturan 8
dengan menggantikan subperaturan

dengan subperaturan-subperaturan yang berikut:
“(3)
Setiap permohonan untuk mendapatkan kelulusan iklan hendaklah disertakan dengan fi sebanyak tiga ratus ringgit.
(4)
Fi yang telah dibayar di bawah subperaturan (3) tidak boleh dibayar balik.”.

Seksyen 3
Jadual kepada Peraturan-Peraturan ibu dipinda dalam Borang B dengan menggantikan perkataan “$100.00 (Ringgit: Seratus sahaja)” dengan perkataan
“RM300.00 (Ringgit: Tiga ratus sahaja)”.

Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Medicines (Advertisement and Sale) Act 1956 [Act 290], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2019.
Amendment of regulation 8
Seksyen 2
The Medicine Advertisements Board Regulations 1976 [P.U. (A) 283/1976], which are referred to as “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in regulation 8 by substituting for subregulation (3) the following subregulations:
“(3) Every application for approval of advertisement shall be accompanied by a fee of three hundred ringgit.
(4)
The fee which has been paid under subregulation (3) shall not be refundable.”.
Amendment of Schedule
Seksyen 3
The Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended in Form B by substituting for the words “$100.00 (Ringgit: One hundred only)” the words “RM300.00
(Ringgit: Three hundred only)”.
