  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 3(2)(p) of the Civil Aviation Act 1969 [Act 3], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.

These regulations may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Exemption)

(No. 3) Regulations 2018.

A member of a flight crew of Malindo Airways Sdn. Bhd. is exempted from the restriction in relation to flight times under subparagraph 74(a)(ii) of the

Civil Aviation Regulations 2016 [P.U. (A) 97/2016].

The exemption under subregulation (1) is subject to the condition that at the beginning of the flight of the member of the flight crew, the aggregate of all his previous flight times during the period of twelve months expiring at the end of the previous month shall not exceed one thousand hours.
