PERATURAN-PERATURAN PERUBATAN (MENGADAKAN PEPERIKSAAN BAGI PENDAFTARAN SEMENTARA) 2012

(Mengadakan Peperiksaan Bagi Pendaftaran Sementara) 2012.

Peraturan-Peraturan ini hendaklah terpakai bagi mana-mana orang yang memegang kelulusan yang disebut dalam subperenggan 12(1)(a)(ii) Akta.

“badan pemeriksa” ertinya suatu badan yang diluluskan oleh Menteri di bawah perenggan 12(1)(aa) Akta dari mana-mana institusi pelajaran tinggi;

“institusi pelajaran tinggi” ertinya mana-mana fakulti atau sekolah perubatan mana-mana institusi pelajaran tinggi di Malaysia yang tersenarai dalam Jadual Kedua

Akta;

“peperiksaan’’ ertinya mana-mana peperiksaan tahun akhir yang diadakan oleh mana-mana badan pemeriksa.

Setiap calon adalah tertakluk kepada apa-apa peraturan badan pemeriksa yang mengadakan peperiksaan itu termasuk kriteria menduduki semula mana-mana peperiksaan dan pengenaan apa-apa fi.

Jika seseorang calon menarik diri daripada menduduki peperiksaan atau tidak hadir peperiksaan, fi yang telah dibayar di bawah peraturan 4 tidak boleh dikembalikan melainkan jika penarikan diri atau ketidakhadiran itu disebabkan masalah kesihatan atau alasan lain yang boleh diterima oleh Majlis.

Majlis hendaklah mengendors keputusan akhir peperiksaan dan hendaklah menyampaikan keputusan peperiksaan itu kepada setiap calon setakat yang berkaitan dengannya.

Majlis hendaklah mengeluarkan perakuan dalam Borang 2 Jadual kepada calon yang telah lulus peperiksaan.

MEDICAL (SETTING OF EXAMINATION

FOR PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION) REGULATIONS 2012

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Medical Act 1971 [Act 50], the

Malaysian Medical Council, with the approval of the Minister, makes the following regulations:

Provisional Registration) Regulations 2012.

Application 2.

These Regulations shall apply to any person who holds a qualification referred to in subparagraph 12(1)(a)(ii) of the Act.

Interpretation 3.

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires-

“examining body” means a body approved by the Minister under paragraph 12(1)(aa) of the Act from any higher educational institution;

“higher educational institution” means any faculty or school of medicine of any higher educational institution in Malaysia which is listed in Second Schedule of the Act;

“examination” means any final year examination set by an examining body.

Application to sit for examination 4.

(1)

An application to sit for an examination sets by an examining body shall be submitted to the Council in duplicate of Form 1 of the Schedule together with the fee of two hundred ringgit.

(2)

The Council shall make a decision on the eligibility of any candidate to sit for the examination.

(3)

If the Council decides that the candidate is eligible to sit for the examination, the candidate shall be assigned to the examining body of his or her choice.

Candidate subject to rules of examining body 5.

Each candidate shall be subject to any rules of the examining body which sets the examination including the criteria of resitting of any examination and the imposition of any fee.

Withdrawal from examination 6.

If a candidate withdraws from sitting for the examination or is absent from the examination, the fee paid under regulation 4 shall not be refunded unless the withdrawal or absence is due to medical problems or other reasons acceptable to the

Council.

Communication of result 7.

The Council shall endorse the final result and shall communicate to each candidate the result of the examination as far as it relates to him.

Issue of certificate 8.

The Council shall issue a certificate in Form 2 of the Schedule to a candidate who passed the examination.

Revocation 9.

The Medical (Setting of Examination for Provisional Registration) Regulations 1993 [P.U. (A) 426/1993] is revoked.
