SPECIAL ALLOWANCE:
Such special allowance as the Government may in its discretion deem fit to grant on an ad hoc basis. (effective from 1-1-1974 subject to election under section 16).";
(b)
by adding immediately after the word "month" in paragraph 4 the words "and $5 per night for lodging expenses when the judge is on outstation duty".
(c)
by deleting paragraph 5 and substituting therefor the following new paragraph 5—
"5. MILEAGE:
Rates of mileage for Judges of the Federal Court and the High Courts only shall be at half of the rates payable to officers of the public services of equivalent grade for journeys on official duty.
(effective from 1-6-1974 subject to election under section 16)."
