Section 12

Power of the Corporation to appoint district committees

The Corporation may subdivide the State of Sarawak into areas for the purposes of this Ordinance, and may, in each of the areas so created, constitute a local committee consisting of such members or other persons as the Corporation may appoint.

(2)

The Corporation may, as it thinks fit, at any time and from time to time, alter the boundaries of any area or make a new subdivision of the State of Sarawak into areas.

(3)

The Corporation may, as it thinks fit, revoke any appointment made by the Corporation to any local committee, and increase or reduce the number of members of any local committee.

(4)

A local committee shall perform such functions as the

Corporation may direct, but not including the grant of a loan or guarantee.
