Perintah Bantuan Guaman (Pindaan) 1971

These regulations may be cited as the Legal Aid (Amendment) Regulations, 1971.

The Legal Aid and Advice Regulations, 1970, are hereby amended by substituting for the words "Emergency (Essential Powers) Ordinance No. 39, 1970" and the word "Ordinance" wherever they appear in the regulations the words "Legal Aid Act, 1971" and the word "Act" respectively.

AKTA BANTUAN GUAMAN, 1971

Perentah ini boleh-lah di-namakan Perentah Bantuan Guaman (Pindaan), 1971.

Jadual Ketiga kapada Akta Bantuan Guaman, 1971 ada-lah dengan ini di-pinda dengan memasokkan ka-dalam-nya butiran yang berikut:

"4. Pembicharaan berhubong dengan nafkah dalam mahkamah $ ^{2} $ yang mentadbirkan hukum Shara' di-mana mana $ ^{2} $ orang atau peguambela atau peguamchara di-benarkan hadhir."

Jadual Kceempat kapada Akta Bantuan Guaman, 1971 ada-lah dengan ini di-pinda dengan memasokkan ka-dalam-nya butiran $ ^{2} $ baharu yang berikut:

$ \mathrm{H a k}^{2} $ dan tanggongan mengenai tindakan $ ^{2} $ sivil bagi gantirosak yang timbul daripada kemalangan yang melibatkan kereta $ ^{2} $ motor yang termasok dalam makna Ordinan Lalu-lintas Jalan, 1958.

"2. Hak $ ^{2} $ dan tanggongan $ ^{2} $ di-bawah Ordinan Pampasan Pekerja, 1952.

LEGAL AID ACT, 1971

This order may be cited as the Legal Aid (Amendment) Order, 1971.

The Third Schedule to the Legal Aid Act, 1971 is hereby amended by inserting therein the following item;

"4. Proceedings relating to maintenance in courts administering Muslim Law where any person or advocate and solicitor may be authorised to appear."

The Fourth Schedule to the Legal Aid Act, 1971 is hereby amended by inserting therein the following new items:

by inserting therein the following new items: "2. Rights and liabilities under the Workmen's Compensation Ordinance, 1952.

Rights and liabilities in respect of civil action for damages arising out of accidents involving motor vehicles within the meaning of the Road Traffic Ordinance, 1958.
