PADA menjalankan kuasa-kuasa yang diberi oleh seksyen 12 dan 29 Akta Bantuan Guaman, 1971 Peguam Negara dengan ini membuat perintah berikut:

Seksyen 1

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Bantuan Guaman Nama. (Pindaan), 1972.

Seksyen 2

Jadual Ketiga kepada Akta Bantuan Guaman, 1971 adalah dengan ini dipinda dengan memasokkan ke dalamnya butiran baharu yang berikut:

"5. Hak-hak dan tanggongan-tanggongan di bawah Ordinan Pampasan Pekerja, 1952.

Seksyen 6

Hak-hak dan tanggongan-tanggongan di bawah Akta Penanam Padi (Mengawal Sewa dan Menjamin Pemegangan), 1967.".

Seksyen 3

Jadual Keempat kepada Akta Bantuan Guaman. 1971 adalah dengan ini dipinda dengan—

(a)

memotong kesemua butiran 1 dan 2; dan

(b)

menomborkan semula butiran 3 dan 4 masing-masing sebagai butiran 1 dan 2.

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12 and 29 of the Legal Act 26. Aid Act, 1971 the Attorney General hereby makes the following order:

Seksyen 1

This order may be cited as the Legal Aid (Amendment) Order, Citation. 1972.

Seksyen 2

The Third Schedule to the Legal Aid Act, 1971 is hereby amended by inserting therein the following new items:

"5. Rights and liabilities under the Workmen's Compensation Ordinance, 1952.

Seksyen 6

Rights and liabilities under the Padi Cultivators (Control of Rent and Security of Tenure) Act, 1967.".

Seksyen 3

The Fourth Schedule to the Legal Aid Act, 1971 is hereby amended by—

(a)

deleting therefrom the whole of items 1 and 2; and

(b)

renumbering items 3 and 4 as 1 and 2 respectively.
