- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 9 Akta Cukai Pelancongan 2017 [Akta 791], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa
Seksyen 2
Perintah Cukai Pelancongan (Pengecualian) 2017 [P.U. (A) 240/2017] dipinda dalam perenggan 3—
(a)
dalam subperenggan (e), dengan memotong perkataan “dan” di hujung subperenggan itu;
(b)
dalam subperenggan (f), dengan menggantikan noktah di hujung subperenggan itu dengan koma bertitik; dan
(c)
dengan memasukkan selepas subperenggan (f) subperenggan yang berikut:
“(g) institusi pendidikan swasta yang berdaftar di bawah
Akta Pendidikan 1996 [Akta 550] yang mengendalikan premis penginapan sebagai kemudahan bagi murid institusi pendidikan swasta itu.”.

TOURISM TAX (EXEMPTION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2019
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section by section 9 of the Tourism Tax Act 2017 [Act 791], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Tourism Tax (Exemption)
(Amendment) Order 2019.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 1 October 2019.
Amendment of paragraph 3 2.
The Tourism Tax (Exemption) Order 2017 [P.U. (A) 240/2017] is amended in paragraph 3—
(a)
in subparagraph (e), by deleting the word “and” at the end of the subparagraph;
(b)
in subparagraph (f), by substituting for the full stop at the end of the subparagraph a semicolon; and
(c)
by inserting after subparagraph (f) the following paragraph:
“(g) a private educational institution registered under the
Education Act 1996 [Act 550] operating accommodation premises as a facility to the private educational institution’s pupils.”.
