Bahawasanya, penyakit flu unggas wujud di Negeri Kelantan dan boleh dibawa masuk ke dalam Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan: Dan bahawasanya, adalah menjadi hasrat untuk mencegah merebaknya flu unggas di Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan: Maka, oleh yang demikian, saya Dato' Seri Diraja (Dr.) Mohamad Tajol Rosli bin Ghazali, Menteri Besar Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan, pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 36(1) Ordinan Binatang 1953 [Ord. 17/1953], mengisytiharkan seluruh Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan menjadi suatu kawasan kawalan flu unggas; Dan bagi maksud tersebut, melarang pengalihan dan pergerakan apa-apa burung atau karkas, atau bahagiannya (termasuk tahi, bulu, organ dan benda lain yang seumpamanya)— (termasuk tahi, bulu, organ dan benda lain yang seumpamanya) berasal; dan WARTA KERAJAAN NEGERI PERAK 2 [14hb Oktober 2004 Ridzuan. Preamble

Whereas, the disease of fowl plague exists in the State of Kelantan and may be introduced into the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan: And whereas, it is desired to prevant the introduction of fowl plague in the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan: Now, therefore, I, Dato' Seri Diraja (Dr.) Mohamad Tajol Rosli bin Ghazali, Menteri Besar of Perak Darul Ridzuan, in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 36(1) of the Animals Ordinance 1953 [Ord. 17/1953], declare the whole State of Perak Darul Ridzuan to be a fowl plaque control area; And for that purpose, prohibit the removal and movement of any bird or carcass, or part thereof (including droppings, feathers, organs and other similar things)—

(a)

into the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan, except with the written permission of the State Director of Veterinary Services in Peninsular Malaysia where the removal and movement of the bird or carcass, or part thereof

(including droppings, feathers, organs and other similar things) originated;

and

WARTA KERAJAAN NEGERI PERAK

(b)

out of the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan if the bird or carcass, or part thereof (including droppings, feathers, organs and other similar things)

originated from the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan or between places in the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan, except with the written permission of the Director of Veterinary Services of the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
