CUSTOMS DUTIES (TIOMAN) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2019

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 163K(1)(a) of the Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Tioman) (Amendment)

Order 2019.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 27 March 2019.

Amendment of paragraph 2 2.

The Customs Duties (Tioman) Order 2004 [P.U. (A) 239/2004] is amended in paragraph 2—

(a)

by deleting the words “, intoxicating liquors, tobacco products and cigarettes”;

and

(b)

by substituting for the word “4” the word “5”.
