Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 80(1) of the Stamp Act 1949 [Act 378], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Stamp Duty (Exemption) Order 2019.

This Order comes into operation on 26 February 2019.

Any instrument in respect of the issuance, guarantee and services in relation to the issuance of Malaysia Japanese Yen Bonds - Series A (2019) Guaranteed by Japan Bank for

(Tekikaku Kikan Toshika Gentei) by the Government of Malaysia which is executed on or after 26 February 2019 but not later than 31 December 2019 is exempted from stamp duty.
