Citation 1.
This order may be cited as the Statutory Declarations (Fees) Order 1968.
Fees 2.
(1)
A person making any declaration by virtue of the provisions of the Act shall pay to the officer or Commissioner taking the declaration—
(a)
a fee of RM10.00 for each declaration made; and
(b)
a sum of RM10.00 for each exhibit referred to in the declaration.
(2)
The fee paid to the public officer referred to in subparagraph (1) shall be credited to the Government revenue.
Exemption 3.
Any declaration which is declared by law to be exempt from payment of stamp duty shall be exempt from the payment of the fee prescribed in paragraph 2 if the declaration is taken by a public officer.
Revocation 4.
Legal Notification No. 56 of 1950 is revoked.
