“Skim” ertinya “Skim Insurans untuk Kumpulan Sasar NKRA Low Income

Household” yang diaturkan oleh Yayasan Kebajikan Negara, sebagai pemunya polisi kumpulan, untuk orang yang diinsuranskan di bawah Skim iaitu ahli-ahli berdaftar

“Data Kemiskinan Nasional” yang juga dikenali sebagai “e-Kasih”;

“Penanggung insurans Skim” ertinya penanggung insurans bagi Skim, iaitu

Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad dan Allianz General Insurance Company

(Malaysia) Berhad, kedua-duanya merupakan penanggung insurans berlesen; dan

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 198 of the Insurance Act 1996 [Act 553], the Minister, after having considered that the matters to be exempted are consistent with the purposes of the Act and are in the interest of the public, makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Insurance (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2011. Interpretation 2. In this Order― “Scheme” means the “Skim Insurans untuk Kumpulan Sasar NKRA Low Income Household” arranged by Yayasan Kebajikan Negara, as the group policy owner, for persons insured under the Scheme who are the registered members of the “Data Kemiskinan Nasional” also known as “e-Kasih”; “Scheme insurers” means the insurers of the Scheme, Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad and Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad, both of which are licensed insurers; and “Yayasan Kebajikan Negara” means the Yayasan Kebajikan Negara, registered under the Trustees (Incorporation) Act 1952 [Act 258], the group policy owner of the Scheme. Exemption from subsection 186(4) of the Act 3. The Scheme insurers, in the case of the death of a person insured under a group policy of the Scheme, are exempted from subsection 186(4) of the Act in order that payment of moneys due under the group policy is paid to Yayasan Kebajikan Negara, who shall receive and distribute such moneys on behalf of the person insured in accordance with applicable distribution laws.
