FEDERAL ROADS (WEST MALAYSIA) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2018

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Kedah, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) Order 2018.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 19 January 2018.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading “Negeri Kedah Darul Aman”—

(a)

by substituting for item 17 the following item:

“17.

(Route 113): Padang Lallang–Kampung Kok Road, Pulau Langkawi

From coordinates N 6.427032, E 99.80208 at the roundabout at Padang Lallang and ending at coordinates N 6.366617,

E 99.672864 as shown on the MAP: PADANG LALLANG–KAMPUNG

KOK ROAD, PULAU LANGKAWI (a distance of 17.212 km).”; and

(b)

by inserting after the MAP: BUKIT KAYU HITAM-JITRA HIGHWAY the following map:
