Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Pahang, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 8) Order 2014.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 23 September 2014.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading “Negeri Pahang Darul Makmur”—

(a)

by substituting for item 42 the following item:

“42.

(Route 34): Jalan Central Spine

Starting from Felda Chegar Perah 2 at Route 8 at coordinates

N 495725.581235, E 444799.410092 and ending at Kg. Kubang

Rusa, at coordinates N 508287.716049, E 444664.427406 as shown on Map 21 : Negeri Pahang (a distance of 13.2 km).”; and

by substituting for MAP 21: NEGERI PAHANG the following map:
