Dalam Perintah ini, “dokumen perjalanan yang sah” ertinya Pasport Diplomatik,
Rasmi, Biasa atau Kecemasan yang dikeluarkan kepada warganegara Republik Maldives.
Pengecualian
Menteri mengecualikan semua warganegara Republik Maldives yang mempunyai dokumen perjalanan yang sah daripada keperluan visa yang dikehendaki di bawah subseksyen 2(1) Akta tertakluk kepada syarat yang berikut:
tempoh Pas Lawatan Sosial yang diberikan kepada warganegara
Republik Maldives hanya terhad kepada sembilan puluh hari bagi setiap kemasukan tanpa apa-apa pelanjutan tempoh;
warganegara Republik Maldives hendaklah masuk dan keluar dari
Malaysia hanya melalui pintu masuk yang dibenarkan sebagaimana yang diwartakan di bawah subseksyen 5(1) Akta Imigresen 1959/63
[Akta 155]; dan 3
apa-apa syarat lain sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh
Ketua Pengarah Imigresen.

PASSPORTS (VISA TO THE CITIZEN OF THE REPUBLIC OF MALDIVES)
(EXEMPTION) ORDER 2016
Opening note
This order may be cited as the Passports (Visa to the Citizen of the
Republic of Maldives) (Exemption) Order 2016.
This Order comes into operation on 1 June 2016.
Interpretation 2.
In this Order, “valid travel document” means a Diplomatic, Official,
Ordinary or Emergency Passport issued to the citizen of the Republic of Maldives.
Exemption 3.
The Minister exempts all citizens of the Republic of Maldives with a valid travel document from the requirement of visa required under subsection 2(1) of the
Act subject to the following conditions:
the period of Social Visit Pass granted to the citizen of the
Republic of Maldives shall only be limited to ninety days for each entry without any extension of period;
the citizen of the Republic of Maldives shall enter and exit from Malaysia only through the authorized points of entry as gazetted under subsection 5(1) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 [Act 155]; and
any other conditions as may be determined by the
Director General of Immigration.
