Penggunaan Jalan) (Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur) 1994 [P.U. (A) 400/1994], yang disebut

”Perintah ibu” dalam Perintah ini, dipinda dalam perenggan 2, dalam takrif “kenderaan bergerak perlahan”, dengan menggantikan perkataan “tangki minyak atau air, lori balak, lori yang berat dengan muatannya melebihi tiga tan, traktor, treler, jengkaut pengalih tanah, jentolak dan kereta lembu” dengan perkataan “motokar berat, traktor berat, traktor ringan, jentera bergerak berat, jentera bergerak ringan dan treler, sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam subseksyen 5(1) Akta”.

Jadual Kedua kepada Perintah ibu dipinda, berhubung dengan jalan-jalan yang baginya larangan terpakai pada waktu-waktu yang dinyatakan pada waktu pagi dan petang, dengan memasukkan selepas butiran 29 butiran yang berikut :

ROAD TRANSPORT (SLOW MOVING VEHICLES)

(PROHIBITION ON USE OF ROAD)

(CITY OF KUALA LUMPUR) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2018

WHEREAS by P.U. (B) 6/2018 published on 9 January 2018, notice was given of the intention to make an order under section 70 of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333]:

AND WHEREAS no objection was received by the Commissioner of the

City of Kuala Lumpur against the making of such order:

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Act, the Commissioner of the City of Kuala Lumpur, after consultation with the

Director General for Road Transport and after taking into consideration the matters referred to in subsection 70(2) of the Act, makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Road Transport (Slow Moving Vehicles)

(Prohibition on Use of Road) (City of Kuala Lumpur) (Amendment) Order 2018.

This Order comes into operation on 7 February 2018.

Amendment of paragraph 2 2.

The Road Transport (Slow Moving Vehicles) (Prohibition on Use of Road)

(City of Kuala Lumpur) Order 1994 [P.U. (A) 400/1994], which is referred to as the

“principal Order” in this Order, is amended in paragraph 2, in the definition of

“slow moving vehicle”, by substituting for the words “oil or water tanker, timber lorry, lorry the laden weight of which exceeds three tones, tractor, trailer, earth moving excavator, bulldozer and bullock cart” the words “motor cars heavy, tractors heavy, tractors light, mobile machinery heavy, mobile machinery light and trailers, as specified in subsection 5(1) of the Act”.

Amendment of Second Schedule 3.

The Second Schedule to the principal Order is amended, in relation to the roads to which the prohibition applies during the hours specified in the morning and afternoon, by inserting after item 29 the following item:

“30.

Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim”.
