ROAD TRANSPORT (PROHIBITION OF USE OF ROAD)

(CITY OF KUALA LUMPUR) (NO. 3) ORDER 2018

WHEREAS in the P.U. (B) 108/2018 published on 2 March 2018, notice was given of the intention to make an order under section 70 of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333]:

AND WHEREAS no objection was received by the Commissioner of the City of

Kuala Lumpur against the making of such order:

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Act, the Commissioner of the City of Kuala Lumpur, after consultation with the

Director General for Road Transport and after taking into consideration the matters referred to in subsection 70(2) of the Act, makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Road Transport (Prohibition of Use of

Road) (City of Kuala Lumpur) (No. 3) Order 2018.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 20 March 2018.

Prohibition 2.

The driving of vehicles on the part of the road specified in column (1) of the

First Schedule as shown on the map in the Second Schedule, otherwise than on the routes specified in column (2) of the First Schedule, for the period specified in column (3) of the First Schedule, is prohibited.
