Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa-kuasa yang diberi oleh seksyen 15 Akta Penyemakan Undang-Undang 1968, Pesuruhjaya Penyemak Undang-Undang membuat Perintah yang berikut:
Seksyen 2
Akta Setem 1949 (Akta 378 Disemak 1989) adalah diperbetulkan seperti yang berikut:
(a)
dengan memasukkan di bawah perkataan-perkataan "Revised up to 31st August 1989" yang terdapat di mukasurat 2, yang berikut:
[Note: This revision incorporates all amendments made up to 31st August 1989 including those made under Act A723. It does not include subsequent amendments made under Act 421.]
(b)
dengan menggantikan amaun "$2.00" yang terdapat di perenggan (a) di bawah butiran 34 Jadual Pertama dengan amaun "$10.00".

REVISION OF LAWS (STAMP ACT) ORDER 1990
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Revision of Laws Act 1968, the Commissioner of Law Revision makes the following Order:
Seksyen 1
This Order may be cited as the Revision of Laws (Stamp Act) Order 1990 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 2nd January 1990.
Seksyen 2
The Stamp Act 1949 (Act 379 Revised 1989) is rectified as follows:
(a)
by adding below the words "Revised up to 31st August 1989" appearing on page 2, the following:
[Note: This revision incorporates all amendments made up to 31st August 1989 including those made under Act A723. It does not include subsequent amendments made under Act 421.]
(b)
by substituting for the amount "$2.00" appearing in paragraph (a) of item 34 of the First Schedule the amount "$10.00".
