PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 15 Akta Penyemakan Undang-Undang 1968 [Akta 1], Pesuruhjaya Penyemak Undang-Undang membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama

Seksyen 1

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Penyemakan Undang-Undang (Pembetulan Kanun Tatacara Jenayah) 2018.

Seksyen 2

Pembetulan

Cetakan semula Kanun Tatacara Jenayah [Akta 593] yang disiarkan dalam tahun 2012 yang mengandungi segala pindaan hingga 1 November 2012 dibetulkan—

(a)

dalam Jadual Pertama dalam butiran yang berhubungan dengan—

(i)

seksyen 292 Kanun Keseksaan, dalam ruang 2, dengan menggantikan perkataan "Sale, etc., of obscene objects to young person" dengan perkataan "Having in possession obscene books, etc., for sale or exhibition";

(ii)

seksyen 293 Kanun Keseksaan, dalam ruang 2, dengan menggantikan perkataan "Having in possession obscene books, etc., for sale or exhibition" dengan perkataan "Sale, etc., of obscene objects to young person";

(iii)

seksyen 431A Kanun Keseksaan, dalam ruang 2, dengan memasukkan koma selepas perkataan "cable";

(iv)

seksyen 450 Kanun Keseksaan, dalam ruang 2, dengan menggantikan perkataan "penal servitude" dengan perkataan "imprisonment";

(v)

seksyen 477 Kanun Keseksaan, dalam ruang 2, dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan "attempting" perkataan "to";

(vi)

seksyen 489B Kanun Keseksaan, dalam ruang 2, dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan "forged" perkataan "or";

seksyen 493 Kanun Keseksaan, dalam ruang 2, dengan menggantikan perkataan "co-habit" dengan perkataan "cohabit";

(viii)

seksyen 501 Kanun Keseksaan, dalam ruang 2, dengan menggantikan perkataan "and" dengan perkataan "or"; dan

(b)

dalam "LIST OF SECTIONS AMENDED", dengan menggantikan perkataan "M.U. Ord. 13/1957" yang terdapat dalam "First Schedule" dengan perkataan "M.U. Ord. 13/1947".

REVISION OF LAWS (RECTIFICATION OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE) ORDER 2018

Preamble

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Revision of Laws Act 1968 [Act 1], the Commissioner of Law Revision makes the following order: Citation

Seksyen 1

This order may be cited as the Revision of Laws (Rectification of Criminal Procedure Code) Order 2018.

Seksyen 2

Rectification

The reprint of the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593] published in the year 2012 incorporating all amendments up to 1 November 2012 is rectified—

(a)

in the First Schedule in the item relating to—

(i)

section 292 of the Penal Code, in column 2, by substituting for the words "Sale, etc., of obscene objects to young person" the words "Having in possession obscene books, etc., for sale or exhibition";

(ii)

section 293 of the Penal Code, in column 2, by substituting for the words "Having in possession obscene books, etc., for sale or exhibition" the words "Sale, etc., of obscene objects to young person";

(iii)

section 431A of the Penal Code, in column 2, by inserting a comma after the word "cable";

(iv)

section 450 of the Penal Code, in column 2, by substituting for the words "penal servitude" the word "imprisonment";

(v)

section 477 of the Penal Code, in column 2, by inserting after the word "attempting" the word "to";

(vi)

section 489B of the Penal Code, in column 2, by inserting after the word "forged" the word "or";

(vii)

section 493 of the Penal Code, in column 2, by substituting for the word "co-habit" the word "cohabit";

(viii)

section 501 of the Penal Code, in column 2, by substituting for the word "and" the word "or"; and

(b)

in the "LIST OF SECTIONS AMENDED", by substituting for the words "M.U. Ord. 13/1957" appearing in "First Schedule" the words "M.U. Ord. 13/1947".
