Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa-kuasa yang diberi oleh seksyen 15 Akta Penyemakan Undang-Undang 1968, Pesuuhjaya Penyemak Undang-Undang, dengan ini membuat Perintah yang berikut:
Seksyen 1
Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Penyemakan Undang-Undang (Prosiding Kerajaan) 1989 dan hendaklah mempunyai kuatkuasa undang-undang mulai dari 1hb Disember 1988.
Seksyen 2
Tarikh berkuatkuasa Akta Prosiding Kerajaan 1956 bagi Malaysia Timur yang tercatat di muka surat 7 adalah dengan ini dibetulkan dengan menggantikan "22hb Oktober 1964" dengan "16hb September 1963".
Diperbuat pada 1hb Ogos 1989. [PN. $ (\mathrm{S U}^{2}) $ 273; PN. $ (\mathrm{P U}^{2}) $ 231.]

Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Revision of Laws Act 1968, the Commissioner of Law Revision, hereby makes the following Order:
Seksyen 1
This Order may be cited as the Revision of Laws (Government Proceedings) Order 1989 and shall be deemed to have the force of law with effect from the 1st December 1988.
Seksyen 2
The date of coming into force of the Government Proceedings Act 1956 for East Malaysia appearing on page 7 is hereby rectified by substituting "25th February 1965" for "26th February 1965".
Made the 1st August 1989. [PN. $ \left(\mathrm{S U}^{2}\right) $ 273; PN. $ \left(\mathrm{P U}^{2}\right) $ 231.]
