PESTICIDES ACT 1974

PESTICIDES (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2019

Suggest a correction
  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 59 of the Pesticides Act 1974 [Act 149], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Pesticides (Exemption) Order 2019.

This Order comes into operation on 15 December 2019.

Exemption 2.

Subject to paragraph 3, the Minister exempts Farmcochem Sdn. Bhd.

(Company No. 193015-K) from the prohibition under paragraph 13(1)(b) of the

Act for the purpose of manufacturing a pesticide and the requirement under paragraph 15(2)(a) of the Act for the purpose of application for a licence to manufacture a pesticide.

Condition of exemption 3.

The exemption under paragraph 2 is subject to the condition that the pesticide shall be manufactured under an agreement for the registrant of the pesticide.
