- PADA menjalankan kuasa-kuasa yang diberi oleh seksyen-kecil (3) seksyen 1 Akta Sewa-Beli 1967, Menteri membuat Perintah yang berikut:
Seksyen 2
Jadual Pertama kepada Akta Sewa-Beli 1967, adalah dipinda dengan menggantikan senarai barang-barang yang terdapat dalamnya dengan yang berikut:
"1. Motor vehicles, namely-
(a)
Invalid carriages;
(d)
Goods vehicles (where the maximum permissible laden weight does not exceed 50 cwts);
Pindaan bagi senarai barang-barang.
Seksyen 2
Radio sets, television sets, tape-recorders, and any combination thereof;
Seksyen 4
Sewing machines other than those used for industrial purposes;
Seksyen 3
Refrigerators and deepfreeze food preservers; and any combination thereof;
Seksyen 5
Washing machines;
Seksyen 6
Vacuum cleaners;
Seksyen 7
Air-conditioning units other than those used for industrial purposes; and
Seksyen 8
Electric or gas, cookers and ovens.".

Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (3) of section 1 of the Hire-Purchase Act 1967, the Minister makes the following Order: Citation and commencement.
Seksyen 1
This Order may be cited as the Hire-Purchase Order 1980 and shall come into force on the 1st August 1980.
Amendment of list of goods.
"1. Motor vehicles, namely—
Seksyen 2
The First Schedule to the Hire-Purchase Act 1967, is amended by substituting the following for the list of goods appearing therein:
(d)
Goods vehicles (where the maximum permissible laden weight does not exceed 50 cwts);
Seksyen 3
Refrigerators and deepfreeze food preservers, and any combination thereof;
Seksyen 2
Radio sets, television sets, tape-recorders, and any combination thereof;
Seksyen 4
Sewing machines other than those used for industrial purposes;
Seksyen 5
Washing machines;
Seksyen 6
Vacuum cleaners;
Seksyen 7
Air-conditioning units other than those used for industrial purposes; and
Seksyen 8
Electric or gas, cookers and ovens.".
