Perintah ini disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Februari 2009.

Pengecualian daripada seksyen 2 dan subseksyen 16B(9) dan (11) Akta 2.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong mengecualikan Universiti Sains Malaysia yang tertakluk kepada Akta Universiti dan Kolej Universiti 1971 daripada pemakaian tafsiran ‘pelajar’

di bawah seksyen 2 dan pemakaian subseksyen 16B(9) dan (11) Akta.

UNIVERSITI SAINS MALAYSIA (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2011

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 26(a) of the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 [Act 30], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Universiti Sains Malaysia (Exemption)

Order 2011.

(2)

This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 1 February 2009.

Exemption from section 2 and subsections 16B(9) and (11) of the Act 2.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong exempts Universiti Sains Malaysia which is subject to the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 from the application of the definition of ‘student’ in section 2 and application of subsections 16B(9) and (11) of the Act.
