This Order may be cited as the Federal Territory of Labuan (Modification of the National Parks Enactment) Order 1984 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 16th April 1984. Citation and commencement.

Preamble
- BAHAWASANYA menurut seksyen 6 (1) Akta Perlembagaan (Pindaan) (No. 2) 1984, semua undang-undang bertulis (termasuk yang ditetapkan dalam seksyen 5 dan 8 Akta itu), selain dari Perlembagaan bagi Negeri Sabah, yang sedia ada dan berkuatkuasa dalam kawasan yang disebut dalam seksyen 2 Akta itu dan yang menubuhkan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan hendaklah terus berkuatkuasa dalam Wilayah itu sehingga dimansuh, dipinda atau diganti oleh undang-undang yang diluluskan oleh Parlimen; PERINTAH WILAYAH PERSEKUTUAN LABUAN (PENGUBAHSUAIAN ENAKMEN TAMAN NEGARA) 1984 DAN BAHAWASANYA menurut seksyen 6 (2) Akta itu, apa-apa kuasa atau fungsi dalam mana-mana undang-undang sedemikian yang terletakhak pada Yang di-Pertua Negeri bagi Negeri Sabah atau pada mana-mana pihak berkuasa bagi Negeri itu, kuasa atau fungsi berkenaan dengan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan itu hendaklah terletakhak pada dan dijalankan atau dilaksanakan oleh Yang di-Pertuan Agong atau Menteri yang bertanggungjawab bagi hal-perkara yang relevan itu; DAN BAHAWASANYA di bawah proviso seksyen 6 (2) Akta itu, Yang di-Pertuan Agong dengan persetujuan Pihak Berkuasa Negeri boleh dengan perintah mengarahkan supaya mana-mana kuasa atau fungsi sedemikian boleh dijalankan atau dilaksanakan bagi pihak Kerajaan Persekutuan oleh pihak berkuasa bagi Negeri yang dengannya ianya diletakhak dahulu; OLEH YANG DEMIKIAN pada menjalankan kuasa di bawah proviso scksycn 6 (2) Akla Perlembagaan (Pindaan) (No. 2) 1984, Yang di-Pertuan Agong dengan persetujuan Pihak Berkuasa Negeri bagi Negeri Sabah membuat perintah yang berikut: Diperbuat pada 19hb April 1984. Opening note
Preamble
- WHEREAS by virtue of section 6 (1) of the Constitution (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1984, all written laws (including those specified in sections 5 and 8 of the Act), other than the Constitution of the State of Sabah, existing and in force in the area referred to in section 2 of the Act and which constitute the Federal Territory of Labuan shall continue to have effect in that territory until repealed, amended or replaced by laws passed by Parliament; AND WHEREAS by virtue of section 6 (2) of the Act, any power or function in any such law vested in the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of the State of Sabah or in any authority of the State, that power or function in relation to the Federal Territory of Labuan shall be vested in and exercised or performed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong or the Minister responsible for the relevant subject matter; AND WHEREAS under the proviso to section 6 (2) of the Act, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong may with the concurrence of the State Authority by order direct that any such power or function may be exercised or performed on behalf of the Government of the Federation by the authority of the State in which it was previously vested; THEREFORE in exercise of the power under the proviso to section 6 (2) of the Constitution (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1984, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong with the concurrence of the State Authority of the State of Sabah makes the following order:
Seksyen 2
It is hereby directed that the power (other than the power to make rules) or function of the Government of the Federation under the National Parks Enactment and the subsidiary legislation made thereunder may be exercised on behalf of the Government of the Federation by the authority of the State of Sabah previously vested with such power under the National Parks Enactment.
