There shall be established an institution to be styled “Politeknik
Ungku Omar” (hereinafter referred to as “the Politeknik”).
Subject to the approval of the Minister, the Politeknik may provide studies and training in the fields of technology and commerce and such other studies and training as the Board may decide.

“Board” means the Board of Governors of the Politeknik Ungku Omar constituted under section 5;
