Section 7

Anchoring prohibition

No vessel shall anchor, berth, moor, lie or loiter –

(a)

at the direct approaches to any port;

(b)

in any principal fairway within a port;

(c)

in such manner as to obstruct the approach to any anchorage or wharf used by other vessels;

(d)

in any cable reserve or any anchorage specified in the Second Schedule except in the circumstances specified in such Schedule; and

(e)

in a position which is likely to foul a vessel which is anchored, moored or made fast to a buoy.
