Offence to sell price-controlled goods above fixed prices

Section 5
(1)

Any person who sells any price-controlled goods at a price or performs or offers to perform any service in relation to any price-controlled goods or hires or offers to hire any price-controlled goods at a charge which exceeds the maximum price or charge fixed therefor by the Price Controller under section 4 shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.

Price Control 9

(2)

Any person who purchases or offers to purchase any price-controlled goods at a price, or who knowingly pays or offers to pay for the hire of any price-controlled goods or for the performance of any service in relation to any price-controlled goods a charge, which exceeds the price or charge fixed therefor by the Price Controller under section 4 shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.
