PROHIBITION OF IMPORT (CARCASE OR PRODUCT OF ANIMALS)
ORDER, 1984.
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Yang di-Pertua Negeri by section 3 (1) of the Animals Ordinance, 1982, and delegated to the Minister of Agriculture and Fishery Development by Gazette Notification No. S 171 of 1963, the following Order is hereby made.
Section 2
No person shall import any carcase or product of animal or bird except in accordance with a licence granted to him by the Director of Veterinary Services and
Animal Husbandry or an officer authorised by him in that behalf and subject to such conditions as may be specified in the licence.
Section 3
The Director of Veterinary Services and Animal Husbandry or officer authorised by him may in his absolute discretion cancel or amend any licence granted under this Order at any time.
Section 4
The Prohibition of Import (Carcase or Product of Animals) Order, 1972, published as Gazette Notification No. 876 of 1972, as amended by the Prohibition of Import
(Carcase or Product of Animals) (Amendment) Order, 1973, published as Gazette
Notification No. 251 of 1973 is hereby cancelled.
