PROHIBITION OF IMPORT (SWINE FEVER CONTROL) ORDER 1986
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Yang di-Pertua Negeri by section 3(1) of the Animals Ordinance, 1962, and delegated to the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries by Gazette Notification No. S 171 of 1963, the following Order is hereby made: This Order may be cited as the Prohibition of Import (Swine Fever Control) Order, 1986 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 4th day of January, 1986 until further notice. The importation of pigs, pork or other products thereof from the Federal Territory of Labuan to mainland Sabah is hereby prohibited. Dated at Kota Kinabalu this 1st day of February, 1986 JOSEPH KURUP, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.
