- BAHAWASANYA Fasal (2) Perkara 55 Perlembagaan Persekutuan memperuntukkan bahawa BETA boleh memprorog Parlimen: DAN BAHAWASANYA wajar dan sesuai Penggal Pertama Parlimen Malaysia Yang Keempat Belas yang bermula pada enam belas hari bulan Julai, dua ribu lapan belas, ditamatkan pada dua puluh lima hari bulan Februari, dua ribu sembilan belas: MAKA OLEH YANG DEMIKIAN, BETA, AL-SULTAN ABDULLAH RI’AYATUDDIN AL-MUSTAFA BILLAH SHAH IBNI SULTAN HAJI AHMAD SHAH AL-MUSTA’IN BILLAH, dengan Kurnia Allah, Yang di-Pertuan Agong bagi Negeri-Negeri dan wilayah-wilayah Malaysia, pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan kepada BETA sebagaimana yang tersebut di atas MEMPROROG Parlimen yang tersebut mulai dua puluh lima hari bulan Februari, dua ribu sembilan belas. DIPERBUAT di Istana Negara BETA di Kuala Lumpur, Ibu Kota Persekutuan, pada lapan hari bulan Februari, dua ribu sembilan belas. Preamble
- WHEREAS Clause (2) of Article 55 of the Federal Constitution provides that WE may prorogue Parliament: AND WHEREAS it is desirable and convenient that the First Session of the Fourteenth Parliament of Malaysia which commenced on the sixteenth day of July, two thousand eighteen, shall terminate on the twenty-fifth day of February, two thousand nineteen: NOW THEREFORE, WE, AL-SULTAN ABDULLAH RI’AYATUDDIN AL-MUSTAFA BILLAH SHAH IBNI SULTAN HAJI AHMAD SHAH AL-MUSTA’IN BILLAH, by the Grace of Allah, Yang di-Pertuan Agong of the States and territories of Malaysia, in exercise of the powers conferred on US as aforesaid PROROGUE the said Parliament with effect from the twenty-fifth day of February, two thousand nineteen.
