PERINTAH PENGUBAHSUAIAN UNDANG-UNDANG (MAKLUMAT PEKERJAAN)(PERLUASAN KE NEGERI-NEGERI BORNEO) 1967

This Order may be cited as the Modification of Laws (Trade Citation. Disputes) (Extension to Borneo States) Order, 1967.

The Trade Disputes Ordinance, 1949 (hereinafter called "the extended Ordinance") and the Trade Disputes (Notice) Regulations, 1951, are extended to Sabah and Sarawak with the modifications set out in the Schedule to this Order.

The Trade Disputes Ordinance of Sabah and any subsidiary legislation made thereunder and the Trade Disputes Ordinance of Sarawak and any subsidiary legislation made thereunder are hereby repealed:

Modification and extension of F.M. Ordinance 4 of 1949 and L.N.421/51.

Provided that all appointments made and all acts done under the Ordinances hereby repealed and subsisting at the commencement of this Order shall be deemed to have been made or done under the extended Ordinance and shall continue in force until they are revoked or suspended or have had their effect.

For the definition of "Commissioner" in section 2 substitute the following definition:

"Commissioner' means the Commissioner for Labour and all Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners appointed under the Labour Ordinance of Sabah or of Sarawak, as the case may be, and includes any other officer appointed under either of the said Labour Ordinances for the purpose of carrying out the provisions thereof;".

MODIFICATION OF LAWS (EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION) (EXTENSION TO BORNEO STATES) ORDER, 1967

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Malaysia Act the Yang di-Pertuan Agong hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Modification of Laws (Employment Information) (Extension to Borneo States) Order, 1967.

2. (1) The Employment Information Ordinance, 1953 (hereinafter called "the extended Ordinance") is extended to the Borneo States.

"Commissioner" means the Commissioner for Labour and all Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners appointed under the Labour Ordinance of Sabah or of Sarawak, as the case may be;

"Labour Officer' means any officer appointed under the Labour Ordinance of Sabah or of Sarawak, as the case may be, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of that Ordinance;";
