  1. In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 12(2) of the Medical Act 1971, the Minister, after consulting the Malaysian Act 50. Medical Council, makes the following order:

This order may be cited as the Medical (Amendment of Citation. Second Schedule) (No. 2) Order 1994.

Suggest a correction

The Medical Act 1971 is amended in the Second Schedule with respect to the country of India—

(a)

by inserting appropriately under the respective columns below the words "University of Andhra: Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam" in column (2) and the description of qualification relating thereto the following words:

"Andhra Pradesh University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery"; and

Suggest a correction

(b)

by inserting appropriately under the respective columns below the words "University of Madras: Christian Medical College, Vellore" in column (2) and the description of qualification relating thereto the following words:

"The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery".
