Cetakan semula teks bahasa Inggeris Akta Imigresen 1959/63 [Akta 155] yang disiarkan dalam tahun 2001 yang mengandungi segala pindaan hingga 31 Mac 2001 dibetulkan—

(a)

dalam subseksyen 1(1), dengan menggantikan perkataan "1959-1963" dengan perkataan "1959/63"; dan

(b)

dalam seksyen 57, dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan "not exceeding five years" perkataan "or to both"

REVISION OF LAWS (RECTIFICATION OF IMMIGRATION ACT 1959/63) ORDER 2002

Opening note

Preamble

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Revision of Laws Act 1968 [Act 1], the Commissioner of Law Revision makes the following order Citation

Seksyen 1

This order may be cited as the Revision of Laws (Rectification of Immigration Act 1959/63) Order 2002.

Seksyen 2

Rectification

The reprint of the English language text of the Immigration Act 1959/63 [Act 155] published in the year 2001 incorporating all amendments up to 31 March 2001 is rectified—

(a)

in subsection 1(1), by substituting for the words "1959-1963" the words "1959/63"; and

(b)

in section 57, by inserting after the words "not exceeding five years" the words "or to both".

Seksyen 3

The reprint of the English language text of the Immigration Act 1959/63 published in the year 1997 incorporating all amendments up to 1 July 1997 is rectified in section 57 by inserting after the words "not exceeding five years" the words "or to both"
