- Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 19 Akta Saraan Hakim 1971 [Akta 45] Yang di-Pertuan Agong, selepas berunding dengan Ketua Hakim Negara, membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: P.U. (A) 193-194.1095

Peraturan-peraturan ini bolehlah dinamaka Peraturan-Peraturan Saraan
Hakim (Pindaan Jadual Pertama, Kedua dan Kelima) 2009.

Akta Saraan Hakim 1971, yang disebut “Akta Ibu” dalam Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dengan menggantikan Jadual Pertama dengan Jadual yang berikut:

Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Judges’ Remuneration Act 1971 [Act 45], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, after consultation with the Chief Justice, makes the following regulations:

Citation and commencement
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the Judges’ Remuneration (Amendment of First, Second and Fifth Schedules) Regulations 2009.
Seksyen 2
Amendment of First Schedule
The Judges’ Remuneration Act 1971, which is referred to as the “principal
Act” in these Regulations, is amendment by substituting for the First Schedule the following Schedule:

in paragraph 1, by substituting for the words “RM11,911.92” the words “RM16,200.21”;

(e)
in paragraph 5, by deleting the words “subparagraphs 6(ii) and 6(iii)
in paragraph 1 and”.
