Opening note
Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan
(Pemerluasan dan Ubah Suaian Akta Juruukur Tanah Berlesen) 2009.
Perintah ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Januari 2010.
Pemerluasan Akta dan perundangan subsidiari ke Wilayah Persekutuan
Labuan
Akta Juruukur Tanah Berlesen 1958 [Akta 458], yang dalam Perintah ini disebut “Akta yang diperluas”, diperluas ke Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan.
Perundangan subsidiari yang dibuat di bawah Akta yang diperluas sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kedua diperluas ke Wilayah
Persekutuan Labuan.
Ubah suaian Akta yang diperluas dan perundangan subsidiari yang dibuat di bawahnya
Akta yang diperluas diubah suai mengikut cara yang dinyatakan dalam
Jadual Pertama.
Perundangan subsidiari yang dibuat di bawah Akta yang diperluas diubah suai mengikut cara yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kedua.
Tertakluk kepada ubah suaian khusus yang dibuat oleh subperenggan 2(2), perundangan subsidiari yang dibuat atau disifatkan telah dibuat di bawah
Akta yang diperluas hendaklah dibaca bersama-sama dengan perubahan yang bersamaan tentang nama atau nama jawatan sebagaimana yang perlu untuk menyelaraskan perundangan subsidiari itu dengan Akta yang diperluas sebagaimana yang diubah suai oleh Perintah ini.
Pemansuhan, peralihan dan kecualian
4. (1) Ordinan Juruukur [Sabah No. 22 tahun 1960] (kemudian daripada ini disebut “Ordinan yang dimansuhkan”), dalam pemakaiannya bagi Wilayah
Persekutuan Labuan, dimansuhkan.

Semua perundangan subsidiari yang dibuat di bawah Ordinan yang dimansuhkan, dalam pemakaiannya bagi Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, dibatalkan.
Apa-apa lesen yang dikeluarkan atau kelulusan yang diberikan di bawah
Ordinan yang dimansuhkan sebelum Perintah ini mula berkuat kuasa hendaklah terus berkuat kuasa sepenuhnya sehingga lesen itu habis tempoh, atau dipinda, digantung atau dibatalkan, atau kelulusan itu habis tempoh atau dibatalkan di bawah Ordinan yang dimansuhkan, yang bagi maksud hanya Ordinan yang dimansuhkan hendaklah terus berkuat kuasa dan berkesan sepenuhnya.
Mana-mana prosiding yang belum selesai atau yang telah dimulakan di bawah Ordinan yang dimansuhkan sebelum Perintah ini mula berkuat kuasa hendaklah diteruskan dan diselesaikan di bawah Ordinan yang dimansuhkan seolah-olah Perintah ini tidak dibuat.

CONSTITUTION (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ACT 1984
Federal Territory of Labuan (Extension and Modification of Licensed
Land Surveyors Act) Order 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Constitution (Amendment)
(No. 2) Act 1984 [Act A585], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following order:
Citation and commencement
1. (1) This order may be cited as the Federal Territory of Labuan (Extension and Modification of Licensed Land Surveyors Act) Order 2009.
This Order comes into operation on 1 January 2010.
Extension of Act and subsidiary legislation to the Federal Territory of
Labuan
2. (1) The Licensed Land Surveyors Act 1958 [Act 458], which in this Order is referred to as the “extended Act”, is extended to the Federal Territory of
Labuan.
The subsidiary legislation made under the extended Act as set out in the Second Schedule are extended to the Federal Territory of Labuan.
Modification of the extended Act and subsidiary legislation made thereunder
3. (1) The extended Act is modified in the manner set out in the First
Schedule.
The subsidiary legislation made under the extended Act are modified in the manner set out in the Second Schedule.
Subject to the specific modifications made by subparagraph 2(2), subsidiary legislation made or deemed to have been made under the extended
Act shall be read with such corresponding alterations as to names or names of titles as may be necessary to bring that subsidiary legislation into accord with the extended Act as modified by this Order.
Repeal, transitional and savings
4. (1) The Surveyors Ordinance [Sabah No. 22 of 1960] (hereinafter referred to as the “repealed Ordinance”), in its application to the Federal Territory of
Labuan, is repealed.
All subsidiary legislation made under the repealed Ordinance, in its application to the Federal Territory of Labuan, are revoked.

Any licence issued or approval granted under the repealed Ordinance before the coming into operation of this Order shall continue in full force until the licence expires, or is amended, suspended or cancelled, or the approval expires or is revoked under the repealed Ordinance, for which purpose only the repealed Ordinance shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Any proceedings pending or commenced under the repealed Ordinance before the coming into operation of this Order shall be continued and concluded under the repealed Ordinance as if this Order has not been made.
