CUSTOMS (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 2014

  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Customs Act 1967 [Act 235], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Customs (Amendment) (No. 2)

Regulations 2014.

These Regulations come into operation on 1 August 2014.

Amendment of regulation 3 2.

The Customs Regulations 1977 [P.U. (A) 162/1977], which are referred to as the

“principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in regulation 3—

(a)

in subregulation (1), by inserting after proviso (xxii) the following proviso:

“(xxiii) at Teluk Rubiah Maritime Terminal, Perak, the hours shall be—

24 hours on any day”; and

in subregulation (4), by inserting after proviso (xxii) the following proviso:

“(xxiii) at Teluk Rubiah Maritime Terminal, Perak, the hours shall be—

Amendment of First Schedule 3.

The principal Regulations are amended in the First Schedule, in Part I, under the subheading “States of Malaya” by inserting after the Customs Port “Marina Pulau

Mentagor, Lumut, Perak” and the particulars relating to it the following particulars:
