Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 69(2) of the Co-operative Societies Act 1993 [Act 502], the Commission makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Co-operative Societies (Assumption of Control) (Appointment) Order 2018. Assumption of control 2. The Commission appoints Amran bin Abd Kadir to assume control of the whole of the property, business, activities and affairs of the Koperasi Peneroka Felda Kemahang (1) Berhad and carry on the whole of its business, activities and affairs with effect from 8 July 2018 to 7 July 2020 or until a Board is elected under the by-laws of the co-operative society, whichever is earlier. Costs and expenses 3. Any costs and expenses incurred by the Commission in relation to the assumption of control under paragraph 2 shall be payable out of the funds and properties of the Koperasi Peneroka Felda Kemahang (1) Berhad as a first charge.
