[P.U. (A) 66/1989], yang disebut “Peraturan-Peraturan ibu” dalam Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dengan menggantikan peraturan 7 dengan peraturan yang berikut:

“Fi bagi kebenaran import atau eksport

Seksyen 7

Fi yang telah dibayar di bawah subperaturan (1) tidak boleh dibayar balik.”.

Seksyen 3

Peraturan 15 Peraturan-Peraturan ibu dipinda dengan menggantikan subperaturan (4) dengan subperaturan yang berikut:

“(4) Setiap permohonan bagi permit untuk membeli dan menggunakan bahan psikotropik hendaklah disertakan dengan fi sebanyak tiga ratus ringgit.

POISONS ACT 1952

POISONS (PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2018

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 35

of the

Poisons Act 1952 [Act 366], the Minister makes the following regulations:

Citation

1. (1)

These regulations may be cited as the Poisons (Psychotropic

Substances) (Amendment) Regulations 2018.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2019.

Amendment of regulation 7

2. The Poisons (Psychotropic Substances) Regulations 1989 [P.U. (A) 66/1989], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended by substituting for regulation 7 the following regulation:

“Fee for import or export authorisation

7. (1) Every application for an import or export authorisation shall be accompanied by a fee of two hundred ringgit.

(2)

The fee which has been paid under subregulation (1) shall not be refundable.”.

Amendment of regulation 15

3. Regulation 15 of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for subregulation (4) the following subregulations:

“(4)

Every application for a permit to purchase and use psychotropic substance shall be accompanied by a fee of three hundred ringgit.

The fee which has been paid under subregulation (4) shall not be refundable.”.

Amendment of First Schedule

4. The First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended in Form A in paragraph 4 by deleting the words “in the event that my application is approved”.
