- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh perenggan 66(1)(o) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987 [Akta 333], Menteri membuat kaedah-kaedah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Kaedah-kaedah ini bolehlah dinamakan Kaedah-Kaedah Kenderaan
Motor (Pendaftaran dan Pelesenan) (Pindaan) (No. 2) 2019.
(ii)
dan subsubperenggan 2(b)(iii)(B) disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 April 2019.
(3)
Subsubperenggan 2(b)(iii)(A) mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Julai 2019.

(AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) RULES 2019
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 66(1)(o) of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333], the Minister makes the following rules: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These rules may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Registration and
Licensing) (Amendment) (No. 2) Rules 2019.
(ii)
and subsubparagraph 2(b)(iii)(B) are deemed to have come into operation on 1 April 2019.
(3)
Subsubparagraph 2(b)(iii)(A) comes into operation on 1 July 2019.
Amendment of Fourth Schedule 2.
The Motor Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Rules 1959 [L.N. 173/1959]
are amended in the Fourth Schedule in Part 1 – WEST MALAYSIA—
(i)
in subitems (1), (3) and (4), by substituting for the words “licence fees would be payable under Item 11(1)(b) of this Schedule”
wherever appearing the words “the relevant licence fees under
Item 11 of this Schedule would be payable”; and
(ii)
in subitem (2)—
by substituting for the words “licence fees would be payable under Item 11(1)(b) of this Schedule” the words
“the relevant licence fees under Item 11 of this Schedule would be payable”; and

by substituting for the words “licence fees payable under
Item 11(1)(b) of this Schedule” the words “the relevant licence fees under Item 11 of this Schedule payable”; and
(i)
in subitem (1), by substituting for the words “licence fees would be payable under Item 11(2), (3) and (4) of this Schedule” wherever appearing the words “the relevant licence fees under Item 11 of this
Schedule would be payable”;
(ii)
in subitem (2), by substituting for the words “licence fees would be payable under Item 11(1)(a) of this Schedule” wherever appearing the words “the relevant licence fees under Item 11 of this Schedule would be payable”; and
(iii)
in subitem (3)—
by inserting after the words “On the REGISTRATION of a locally constructed motor vehicle” the words “, other than a trailer and semi-trailer,”; and by substituting for the words “licence fees would be payable under Item 11(4) of this Schedule” the words “the relevant licence fees under Item 11 of this Schedule would be payable”.
