CUSTOMS ACT 1967
CUSTOMS (PROHIBITION OF IMPORTS) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 4) ORDER 2019
IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 31(1) of the Customs Act 1967
[Act 235], the Minister makes the following order:
Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Customs (Prohibition of Imports)
(Amendment) (No. 4) Order 2019.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 1 January 2020.
Amendment of Second Schedule 2.
The Customs (Prohibition of Imports) Order 2017 [P.U. (A) 103/2017], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the Second Schedule, in Part I, by deleting item 5 and the particulars relating to it.
Amendment of Third Schedule 3.
The Third Schedule to the principal Order is amended in Part I –
in relation to item 25—
(a)
in relation to subitems (1) and (2), in column (5), by substituting for the words—
“For importation into Peninsular Malaysia and Labuan:
(i)
an import permit issued by or on behalf of the
Director General of Agriculture Department (DOA) under the
