Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 63 of the Renewable Energy Act 2011 [Act 725], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the

(Amendment of Schedule) (No. 3) Order 2019.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 23 December 2019.

Amendment of Schedule 2.

The Schedule to the Renewable Energy Act 2011 is amended—

(a)

in relation to the renewable resource “Biomass”, in the Fourth Column, by substituting for the words “16 years” wherever appearing the words “21 years”; and

(b)

in relation to the renewable resource “Small hydropower”, by substituting for items (a), (b) and (c) and the particulars relating to them the following items and particulars:
