Menteri mengecualikan pelancong yang merupakan warganegara

Republik Rakyat China daripada kehendak visa di bawah subseksyen 2(1) Akta tertakluk kepada syarat yang berikut:

(a)

pelancong itu hendaklah berdaftar dalam sistem pendaftaran dan maklumat perjalanan elektronik yang disediakan oleh Ketua Pengarah dan pendaftaran itu boleh dibuat—

oleh pelancong itu sendiri; atau

(ii)

bagi pihak pelancong itu, oleh agensi pelancongan di Republik

Rakyat China yang berdaftar dengan Pejabat Perwakilan Malaysia di Republik Rakyat China;

(b)

pelancong itu hendaklah melakukan perjalanan ke Malaysia dalam tempoh tiga bulan selepas dia berdaftar dalam sistem pendaftaran dan maklumat perjalanan elektronik;

(c)

tempoh lawatan pelancong itu terhad kepada lima belas hari sahaja dan tidak boleh dilanjutkan;

pelancong itu hendaklah memasuki Malaysia dan keluar dari Malaysia hanya melalui lapangan terbang yang dibenarkan sebagaimana yang diwartakan di bawah subseksyen 5(1) Akta Imigresen 1959/63

[Akta 155] atau melalui pos kawalan imigresen seperti yang berikut:

pelancong itu hendaklah mempunyai tiket penerbangan perjalanan balik terus ke Republik Rakyat China atau tiket penerbangan perjalanan ke mana-mana negara jika dia melakukan perjalanan melalui udara;

pelancong itu hendaklah, semasa ketibaan, mengemukakan bukti bahawa dia mempunyai wang poket yang mencukupi, kad kredit atau kad bank dengan logo UnionPay, Alipay atau eWallet, dan mengemukakan jadual perjalanannya di Malaysia; dan

pelancong itu dibenarkan untuk mendaftar semula sebagaimana dalam subperenggan

PASSPORTS (EXEMPTION OF VISA TO TOURIST WHO IS CITIZEN

OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA) (NO. 2) ORDER 2019

  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Passports Act 1966 [Act 150], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Passports (Exemption of Visa to

Tourist Who is Citizen of the People’s Republic of China) (No. 2) Order 2019.

This Order has effect for the period from 1 January 2020

until 31 December 2020.

Exemption 2.

The Minister exempts a tourist who is a citizen of the People’s Republic of China from the requirement of visa under subsection 2(1) of the Act subject to the following conditions:

(a)

the tourist shall be registered in the electronic travel registration and information system provided by the Director General and the registration may be made—

by the tourist himself; or

(ii)

on behalf of the tourist, by a travel agency in the People’s Republic of China which is registered with the Malaysian Mission Office in the

People’s Republic of China;

(b)

the tourist shall travel to Malaysia within three months after he is registered in the electronic travel registration and information system;

(c)

the period of visit of the tourist is limited to fifteen days only and shall not be extended;

(d)

the tourist shall enter Malaysia and exit from Malaysia only through the authorized airports as gazetted under subsection 5(1) of the Immigration

Act 1959/63 [Act 155] or through the immigration control posts as follows:

the tourist is not allowed to apply for any other passes under the

Immigration Regulations 1963 [L.N. 228/1963];

the tourist shall have a travel air ticket back direct to the People’s Republic of China or a travel air ticket to any country if he travels by air;

(g)

the tourist shall, on arrival, produce proof of sufficient pocket-money, credit card or bank card with UnionPay, Alipay or eWallet logo, and produce his itinerary in Malaysia; and

the tourist is allowed to re-register as in subparagraph (a) to enter

Malaysia after the period of forty-five days from the date he leaves
