Akta Biokeselamatan 2007, yang disebut “Akta ibu” dalam Perintah ini, dipinda dalam teks bahasa Inggeris, dalam subperenggan 13(2) Jadual Pertama, dengan menggantikan perkataan “Lembaga Biokeselamatan Negara” dengan perkataan
“Lembaga Biokeselamatan Kebangsaan”.

Jadual Ketiga kepada Akta ibu dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas perenggan 8
perenggan yang berikut:

Mana-mana pegawai penguat kuasa sebagaimana yang ditakrifkan dalam seksyen 3 Akta Perkhidmatan Kuarantin dan Pemeriksaan
Malaysia 2011 [Akta 728].”.

BIOSAFETY ACT 2007
BIOSAFETY (AMENDMENT OF FIRST AND THIRD SCHEDULES) ORDER 2019
IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Biosafety Act 2007 [Act 678], the Minister, after consultation with the Board, makes the following order:
Citation 1.
This order may be cited as the Biosafety (Amendment of First and
Third Schedules) Order 2019.
Amendment of First Schedule 2.
The Biosafety Act 2007, which is referred to as the “principal Act” in this Order, is amended in the English language text, in subparagraph 13(2) of the First Schedule, by substituting for the words “Lembaga Biokeselamatan Negara” the words
“Lembaga Biokeselamatan Kebangsaan”.
Amendment of Third Schedule 3.
The Third Schedule to the principal Act is amended by inserting after paragraph 8 the following paragraph:
“9.
Any enforcement officer as defined in section 3 of the Malaysian
Quarantine and Inspection Services Act 2011 [Act 728].”.
