Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 3(2) of the Stamp Act 1949 [Act 378], the Minister appoints the officers specified in column (2) of the First Schedule as Deputy Collector of Stamp Duties for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Act for the areas specified in column (1) with effect from the date specified in column (3) of the First Schedule. The appointment of Deputy Collector of Stamp Duties in the area specified in column (1) of the Second Schedule as published in the Gazette specified in column (2) is revoked with effect from the date specified in column (3) of the Second Schedule.
