Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Exemptions) Order, 1960, and shall come into force on the day on which the Public Health Ordinance, 1960, shall come into operation.

ORDER - EXEMPTION
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers vested in him by section 147 of the Public Health Ordinance, 1960 [Ord. No. 7 of 1960.], and all other powers thereunto him enabling, the Governor has made the following Order:-
Section 2
Those parts of Sabah which are not within the limits of the local authorities under the Local Government
Ordinance be exempted from the provision of section 73, 78, 90, 111, 116, 120 and 123.
Section 3
For the purposes of subsection (1) of section 78 of the Ordinance local authorities of an urban area providing, for such urban area, a slaughterhouse outside the limits of the urban area shall be exempted from the mandatory requirement to provide a slaughterhouse within such area.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
