Section 1
This order may be cited as the Public Health (Qualifications) Order, 1960, and shall come into force on the date on which the Public Health Ordinance, 1960, shall come into operation.

Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 10 of the Public Health Ordinance, 1960 [Ord. No. 7 of 1960.], and all other powers thereunto him enabling, the Director of Medical Services has made the following order:- Interpretation.
Section 2
For the purposes of section 10 of the Public Health Ordinance, 1960 [Ord. No. 7 of 1960.], the following qualifications are hereby prescribed –
(a)
any of the qualifications prescribed in section 11 of the Medical Registration Ordinance [Cap. 76.];
(b)
an exemption under paragraph (a) of section 17 of the Medical Registration Ordinance [Cap. 76.];
(f)
a pass in the final local examination in Nursing, or a pass in an equivalent examination approved by the
Director.
