THE PUBLIC HEALTH (SUPPLY OF SEWERAGE SERVICES) ORDER, 1961

  1. In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sub-section (2) of section 113 of the Public health Ordinance the Governor has approved arrangements to provide, repair and maintain public sewers and generally for the supply of sewerage services made between the Director of Public Works and the local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto and the powers and duties vested in such local authorities by subsections (2) and (3) of section 112, sections 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119 and 121 of the Public Health Ordinance, 1960, insofar as they relate to public sewers and sewerage services generally are vested in and shall be exercised by the Director of Public Works as though the Director were the local authority.
