Additional functions of the Commission
of Public Service Commission (Additional Functions) Ordinance, 2001

(1)
In addition to the functions of the Commission conferred by Article 36(1) of the Constitution, the Commission shall be vested with powers and functions to appoint, confirm, promote and exercise disciplinary control over officers and employees of the local authorities specified in the Schedule.
(2)
The Yang di-Pertua Negeri may, by Order published in the
Gazette, confer such additional powers and functions as may be prescribed on the Commission relating to the appointment, confirmation, promotion and exercise of disciplinary control over officers and employees of any other corporation or body established or constituted by State law.
(3)
Any Order made under subsection (2) shall be laid before the Dewan Undangan Negeri.
