Private land may be acquired for railway

Section 10
(1)
Such of the lands as are required for the purpose of constructing a railway shall be deemed to be lands required for a public purpose within the meaning of the Land Acquisition Ordinance (Cap.69).
(2)
Proceedings under the Land Acquisition Ordinance (Cap.69) shall be taken separately in respect of each land.
(3)
Nothing in this section shall prevent the acquisition of lands for the purpose of constructing a railway by agreement with the proprietors of occupiers of such lands.
